How to Use
๐ก Note: All processing is done directly in your browser, and files are not uploaded to any server, ensuring complete security.
Why Resize Images Online?
Images that are too large can slow a page down or fail social and email uploads. Images that are the wrong size can look stretched or leave empty space. Resizing lets you set width and height for banners, profile photos, and other layouts.
This resizer runs in your web browser. Photos are not uploaded to a cloud server for processing.
Key Features & Benefits
Built for pixel or percent resizing, aspect-ratio control, and local processing:
Browser-Based Processing
Resizing uses the Canvas API in your browser. Files are not sent to a server for processing.
Pixels or Percentage
Enter exact width and height in pixels, or scale by percent (1%โ500%). Aspect ratio is locked by default. Unlock it in pixel mode to set width and height independently. There are no preset canvas ratios such as 16:9.
Multi-Format Support
Upload JPG, JPEG, PNG, WebP, or GIF. Output can stay original or be saved as JPEG, PNG, or WebP. Animated GIFs become a still image (typically the first frame).
Free, No Watermarks
Resize one image at a time for free, with no account and no watermarks. Maximum file size is 20MB. JPEG and WebP quality can be adjusted.
Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
Will resizing an image alter its aspect ratio and stretch it?
By default, aspect ratio is locked so the image scales without stretching. In pixel mode you can turn that off and set width and height independently. If both values are set with the lock on, the image fits inside those bounds without stretching.
Is my privacy protected when I resize images here?
Yes. Resizing runs in your browser. Files are not uploaded to or stored on a processing server.
Can I resize images on mobile devices or tablets?
Yes. You can resize images in Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge, and mobile browsers without installing an app. Each file must be 20MB or smaller.
